To Grandmothers House We Go

Over spring break the boys got to spend one night at Memaws and Papaws.  Of course they had a great time.  Memaw sent me some pictures of all their activities.

All the activity tired Ti Man out.
Everything's cute at Memaws house.  Including emptying the drawers.

I hear there was a couple of hours spent at the McDonalds playground too.  No pictures of that part.

Great Big Brother

Noah is becoming a great "Big" brother.

Ti loves it when his brothers will play with him.  I am still claiming to be his favorite but I don't think this will last much longer.

We Have A Winner

So Friday I picked the winner for the give away.  It was all very scientific.  I wrote the numbers from  1 to 9 (I had nine entries) on small pieces of paper and wadded them up.  I then through them on the floor and told Tim to pick one ( Ti had already went to bed).  He did an excellent job.

I actually know the person that won.  She was one of my  FAVORITE elementary teachers.  Mrs. Belinda. The character trait that I remember most is her patience.  For instance I was crying over not being able to make a cursive A. ( I don't know what was up with that.  That is like the easiest cursive letter to make.  Guess I had a mental or emotional block for that letter.  ANYWHO)  I remember her telling me everything would be okay and that she was sure I could do it.  ( I cried a whole lot over that incident. I might have been a little dramatic.  I wanted perfection.)

I am sure that she probably doesn't even really remember this incident but she had an impact on my life that day with her encouraging words. Who could have been more perfect to win the giveaway that will hopefully also be an encouragement not only to her but to someone else when she gives the extra jar away.

If you would like to get to know Mrs. Belinda a little better just hop on over to her blog Law of Kindness.  I am sure you will be blessed.  Thanks to everyone that entered.  That was the most comments that I ever received on a post. HURRAY!!!

PS  My hadwriting is still bad.  I have gotten over it though.....Really who cares.

Coloring Eggs

Saturday afternoon the boys and their cousins colored Easter eggs at Nannie and Pop's house.  They colored aobut 36 eggs so they all got their feel of it.

Allison lost another tooth while we were there.

While we were all in the dining room coloring eggs.  Ti was busy pulling all of the kleenexs out of the box.  One of these days that is not going to be so cute.

Be Encouraged.

It seems for the past two Sundays at church God has spoke directly to me during the songs in our invitation time.  This Sunday Allyce our Piano player sang the below song during the invitation.  She is awesome and we are so blessed to have her.

Bro. Barry had spoken about moral purity during his sermon.  Sometimes it seems that one sin is worse than another (which by the way they are all equal).  Do we really believe that God can totally forgive our sins.  Can he turn these ashes into beauty?  Can he make a family whole again after the effects of sexual sins?  Can I totally trust God to renew and heal.  I think can.  No, I know I can.  I pray that this song encourages you as it did me.

Bro. Barry also spoke about talking to our children about moral purity so at the lunch table this was the converstion.  We always  talk about what we learned at church during Sunday lunch.

Mom - So, boys do you know that if you ever have any questions about girls we want you to ask us.

Andrew - hugh

Noah - What kind of questions (with a big smile on his face)

Mom - Anything and everything.  We want to be the first person you ask.

Subject dropped.  hahaha.  What am I going to do when they get older??????

Easter Egg Hunt 2010

Saturday was a very busy day for us.  We started out at the church's eggstravaganza and then went to Grandma Fultz's house for lunch and an egg hunt.

You will notice that Noah goes out in the front of the pack to find the eggs.  His mommy didn't raise no dummy.  lol

They both got lots of eggs.

The church gave every family a kite to fly after the hunt.  We brought our own for the kids to fly also.  It is a big dragon.
Here is all the great grandkids getting ready for the hunt at Grandma Fultz's house.

Everyone had a great time.  One of the best items that Andrew got in one of his eggs is one of those things that you put in water and a sponge comes out of its casing.  Don't know what they are called but it was a big hit with the kids.
