WooHoo Another Giveaway

$35 Giveaway from CSN Stores!

As most of you know, I did a review for CSN stores about a month ago.  I really like to get free stuff and I am sure you do too.  So I got another e-mail the other day asking if I'd like to review another product or host a giveaway.  I decided I would do the giveaway.  Because I just get this giddy feeling inside when I get to give something to someone.  Speaking of giving stuff away.  My friend suggested to me the other day that she would help me go through my closet and make a pile of giveaway and a pile of throw away.  It not that I am against getting rid of any of my stuff but I really don't think anyone would want it.  I think she might have been hinting around that my closet is a disaster.  This is where, if I was a good blogger, I would insert a picture of just how awful my closet looks.  But you will just have to use your imagination because I am to lazy to get up and take a picture.  Anyway back to the subject at hand.

CSN stores have a ton of items, from kitchen utensils (where I enjoy browsing) to children's toys to bed sets, and more.  You just need to go and check it out for yourself.  Which by the way will get you one entry.

Giveaway: Entering for this is simple! One, let me know you follow (this makes me all happy inside too).  Two, let me know which bed set you like at this site. Three, announce this giveaway on your blog.

This contest will end on Monday, November 8th. at 10pm.  Which by the way is an awesome day because it is my birthday.  Hopefully I will get a gift and get to give something away all on the same day.  Really, what could make the day any better?

Good luck, guys!

Another Sweet Andrew

The other day in the car

Andrew:  Mom I am going to be a policeman.

Mom:  I think you would be a great policeman.  You really want to help people and care about them.

Andrew:  They protect people,  Right?

Noah:  And he is really good at wraaaaastling.

Mom:  I just laughed.

The other day when we went to battle field park to take pictures.  As any good mom would do I had bribed my kids and said we would play at the park for a little while if they would just let me take a few pictures of them.  There was a walking trail around the park so there was various people walking and just enjoying the beautiful day.  It was time for us to go back toward the car and I bent over to pick up Ti because he was not cooperating.  Basically he was  refusing to go back to the car with us.  All of a sudden I hear a child yell from up the trail.  "MOM, I SEE YOUR BUTT CRACK"

Okay maybe he wasn't being my sweet Andrew that day.  I was a little embarrassed to say the least.

Noah - 9 Years Old

He is 9.  I can't believe he is 9.  It seems like just yesterday Tim and I were walking down the street discussing what if we were to happen to have a boy instead of a girl like the doctor had told us.  I can still remember Tim's face in the delivery room as he says "its a boy,  its a boy, we were suppose to have a girl"

I am so glad God chose to give us Noah.

Noah you are such a special gift from God.  We prayed for many years for you and God chose to grant our request.  We chose your name because the Bible says that Noah was a man after God's own heart.  That is my prayer for you.  That you will be a man after God's own heart.  You are so smart I know that you could do anything you want to in life.  I am amazed at your ability to learn new things.  I really think you might have a photographic memory.   I am so glad that you have gotten your dad's athletic ability and I enjoy watching you succeed in all the different sports you play.

I am very proud of your athletic and educational successes but I am more proud of your decision to follow Christ.  I love that you can memorize scripture not only to be able to repeat it back to me but to tell me what it means.  I love that you are learning why we believe what we believe.  That the Bible is the absolute truth and we should be able to have a response for people if we are ever asked in what we believe.  With your ability to make friends and be a people person maybe God will call you to the mission field or as a pastor.  I know that God has great plan for your life.

My prayer for you is that you would be protected not only physically as you advance in years but that you would be protected spiritually and that  you would hear Jesus speak to you each day.  May you follow is His footsteps and be bold in your witness to all those around you.  That you would long to spend time with Him daily and want to follow Him

That you would do everything without complaining or arguing, so you may become blameless and pure, a child of God without fault in a crooked and depraved generation, in which you shine like a star in the universe as you hold out the word of lif in order that you may boast on the day of Christ that you did not run or labor for nothing.  Ephesians 2:14-16

Noah I love you bunches and bunches and am so glad that I have got to spend the last nine years as your mom.

Noah's 9th Birthday Party

We had Noah's birthday party at the Edge at our church.  We served pizza, salad and cupcakes.  Noah chose to have good chocolate cake for his birthday cake.  I made it in cupcakes instead of th bundt cake I usually make.

Why is it when you are nine you have to smile this way.

Even Andrew had a friend there.

One of his gifts was a flag football set.  It was a big hit.  They tried it out that night.

The grandpas played a little pool.

We all had a good time celebrating Noah's life.  Thanks to all of our friends and family coming out to celebrate with us.
