Stealing - No Not MEEEEEE

This weekend we went camping in Huntsville, which I will post a few pictures later. On Sunday we had to pick our dog up from my parents. She doesn't do well in the heat so they babysitted for us. We went to church at Osage. My dad preached on Annanias and Sapphire. (that could be spelled wrong). He talked about stealing from God. The subject of tithing came up. Which by the way I am a big fan of. I can't tell you the times that God has overly provided what we needed which I am convinced is due to us tithing. Working for the the church has totally messed up how I see people. For Christians and even leaders in the church to not follow God in this area is beyond me. Okay now back to the subject of me. The whole tithing thing has never been difficult for me. Growing up being taught that the first ten percent is God, well it was just an automatic thing. I can totally see how this could be a hard concept for a new christian. Well in his sermon he talked about God using a man to call out their deceit. So I am going to start listing names of everyone I know that doesn't tithe. Are you breathing hard. I am just kidding. I would never do that. That would be kinda funny though. If that made you nervous, shame on you, you should start tithing. Anyway God killed them for their deceit. WHOA. Now that is kinda scary. Now off the tithing subject and back to stealing from God. I am reading a book called the frazzled female. In this book she talks about stealing from God. No this couldn't be me could it. I tithe. She talks about stealing time from God. OOOOH My quite times stinks. I try to read the Bible but usually my mind is going in a thousand different directions. Well if you know me very well you know that my mind is constantly going in different directions. It is the same way in my time spent with God. You know if I am talking to a friend they can't really tell what is going on in my mind but I can't hide it from God. Whats a girl to do.

Psalm 32: 1-6 from the message
Count yourself lucky, how happy you must be - you get a fresh start, your slate's wiped clean.

Count yourself lucky - God holds nothing against you and you're holding nothing back from him.

When I kept it all inside, my bones turned to powder, my words became daylong groans.

The pressure never let up; all the juices of my life dried up.

Then I let it all out; I said, "I'll make a clean breast of my failures to God." Suddenly the pressure was gone - my guilt dissolved, my sin disappeared.

These things add up. Every one of us needs to pray; when all hell breaks loose and the dam bursts we'll be on high ground, untouched.

Lord, please forgive where I have stolen time from you. The time that you wanted to spend with me I gave to another. Please clean my plate. Let me start anew. I have looked down upon others for stealing your money and I have been no better by stealing your time. Please help me to have a desire to be with you. Help me to have a thirst for your word.

Ti - 4 Months

Ti had his 4 month doctors visit. He was actually about 4.5 months when we went.

Here are the stats:
Weight - 14.3 lbs
Height - 25.4 inches

He was in the 50 percentile in height and weight. He was a little lower percentile for his head circumference. This kinda makes me laugh because we always say our kids have big heads. He is sleeping all the way through the night except for the times he really thinks he needs his pacifier to go back to sleep. We have tried to let him cry it out with out any success. He is very persistent for long periods of time. He is a very happy baby unless he doesn't get what he wants. He is not rolling over yet but he does lift his bottom up off the bed with his feet. He loves, loves, loves his brothers and wants to watch what they are doing all the time. They are obviously great entertainment. He is still going to work with me, but pretty soon he will probably be mobile enough to not want to be in his bouncer. I am so enjoying his smiles and coos. He is such a blessing to us.

We tried cereal but he is not really interested.

Baseball 2009

Baseball is over for the year. I don't know how I will handle it when I have three in sports. I don't feel that I am real competitive but I really wanted them to do good. They did do good and they got second place in the tournament. I swear I have needed to take something for my stomach being in knots each evening. All of the boys tried so hard. Monday night we played ball for about 5 hours. Talk about being tired, we all were. Here is just a few pictures of the kids on the team. I know there are more of Noah than the rest of the kids. What can I say, I was the one taking the pictures.

Andrew was a trooper through the whole season. We brought a bag of men and various other toys and snacks to each game. He usually played pretty close to me in the dirt somewhere. Needless to say we had to take a bath each evening after ball.

Noah doesn't look to happy in this pictures because he wanted to win. Losing is hard on him. Hopefully he will eventually learn how to lose with grace.

I had some pictures of Nannie, Pops, Memaw and Papaw at one of the games but I can't seem to find them. aaargh. All the ones of Ti I couldn't find either. Ti did good at the games he only got upset when his momma would yell. OOOPS I would have been a good cheerleader.

Worms for Sale!!!!

Worms, Worms for Sale

Really I am just kidding we don't have that many yet. Only time will tell if we did it right.

Ingredients for a worm bed. (just in case you want to make one yourself)

1. Willing boys and men and maybe a few dogs.
2. Rubber bend
3. Mesh Wiring
5. Shovel, drill, and staple gun
6. Peat moss
7. Shredded news paper
8. Dirt
9. Last but not least worms

I looked up on the internet a few different ways to make a worm bed and basically used some information from quite a few different sites to make ours.

First Timmy dug a hole to put the tub in. He dug one in the very back of the yard in case it smelled and underneath a shade tree. I am hoping this will keep them cool this summer. We used an old tub I was not using because the lid was broken.

Everyone is helping including the dogs.

Andrew is contemplating on what to do next.
We are to cheap to buy worms so we are looking for them in our back yard. I guess I should say that I am to cheap the boys wouldn't have any problem with spending my money to buy worms.

After the hole was dug we went to work on making the bed. We drilled holes in the bottom of the tub so that it could drain well. Andrew needed a little help but Noah was able to drill them by himself. You know he is about to be eight and all.

Even the dogs got into it. Well at least the digging part.

Our bedding is a mixture of shredded newspaper, peat moss, and dirt.
We put mesh wiring over the holes and Timmy stapled it down to make sure the worms didn't escape out of the bottom.

The boys are plugging in the shredder here. This was an important job you know.
The boys shredding the newspapers that Nannie and Pops gave us for this project.

Of course I couldn't do a post without a few pictures of this cutie. He hung out in his bouncer outside while we worked on the project. He wasn't to impressed.

The bed is in the ground and we are putting some dirt in it.
The boys are looking for worms. Hopefully through out the summer we will add more and more and they will start multiplying. Who knows by next summer we might not need to buy any worms when we want to go fishing. Of course we could kill them all too. hehehe

You are suppose to put your left overs in the bin to feed them. Just no bones or meat products. It also said you need to keep it really moist or they will start eating each other. OUCH And apparently they poop at lot so you have to change the bedding about every three months.
We had a good time doing this and I am hoping that this will give the boys something to do this summer. (looking for worms or digging in the worm bed inspecting the worms we have). Really how much more fun could there be than playing with worms.

Camping With Friends

Last weekend we went camping with some friends. We went back to Natural Falls again because we couldn't find three spots together anywhere else near by.

Our Family

The Lipford Family.

Karen will probably be aggravated that I put this picture on here. All I have to say about that is that she should look at the camera next time.

The Landwehr Family

The kids playing UNO.

Ti got to ride with Dad on the hike down to the falls.
