My sister in law wanted to pick up some black walnuts. This was hilarious. Obviously she is a city girl. I go get the four wheeler to run around under this one tree that is just covered underneath it with walnuts. I wanted some of the shell to come off so they won't take up as much room in the buckets and to keep our hands a little cleaner. I had told my sister in law that the field didn't have much cow poop in it so their shoes should be fine, she disagreed. Really if the cow poop is dried out it should not count since it really won't mess up your shoes. It's only when you step in the fresh green piles. hahaha She had never seen a black walnut before (that is amazing). They were everywhere and she would walk around looking for I guess that perfect nut. We were all laughing at her. One of her comments were "I guess the cows don't like these" Isn't that funny? I don't think that she reads my blog but even if she does that is just to funny not to share. She is a good sport. We picked up about 10 gallons and then let the kids play on the four wheeler and dirt bike. My nieces, I don't think had ever rode either. The youngest one was a little scared of the whole situation. We had a good time but the best part was getting to kid about the whole walnut situation.
I went shopping with my mom and sisters on Friday. I got up at 4 a.m. That was crazy. I did get a lot of my shopping done. We went to Harrison (this made me thankful for all that is available in Fayetteville) and then we went to Branson. We came home about 5:30 p.m. I was extremely tired but then we had to head to my Aunt's house for another Thanksgiving meal. We got home to Farmington about 10:30 last night. After being gone since last Tuesday I was so happy to be in my own bed. My legs can barely move they are so sore from walking all day yesterday. Needless to say I am a little out of shape. hahaha Well that was my exciting weekend, what happened in yours?

In the scientific and medical communities, the technical name for using one's finger to extract boogers is rhinotillexis, and doing so compulsively is termed rhinotillexomania. The act of eating the resulting harvest is called mucophagy.There is an Austrian doctor who has gained notoriety by advocating the picking of one's nose and the consumption of the resulting bounty, particularly in children. Dr. Friedrich Bischinger, a lung specialist working in Innsbruck, would have us believe that people who pick their noses with their fingers are healthier, happier, and more in tune with their bodies. His argument stems from the notion that exposing the body to the dried germ corpses helps to reinforce the immune system. The good doctor feels that society should adopt a new approach to nose-picking, and encourage children to take up the habit. Dr. Bischinger has been quoted as saying (in an Austrian accent), "With the finger you can get to places you just can't reach with a handkerchief, keeping your nose far cleaner. And eating the dry remains of what you pull out is a great way of strengthening the body's immune system." He then added, "Medically it makes great sense and is a perfectly natural thing to do. In terms of the immune system the nose is a filter in which a great deal of bacteria are collected, and when this mixture arrives in the intestines it works just like a medicine.""Modern medicine is constantly trying to do the same thing through far more complicated methods, people who pick their nose and eat it get a natural boost to their immune system for free."This theoretical boost comes from the fact that boogers are chock full of bacteria which your body has shuttled out by way of mucus. Mucus lines many of the pathways into the body's delicate innards, and creates a surface which is like flypaper for bacteria and other particles. Once stuff becomes mired in the goo, the loaded mucus is slowly escorted out by tiny hairs called cilia which sweep the undesirables back out the door. In regards to the nose, when this exiting mucus becomes dry, boogers are produced.What our good Dr. Bischinger doesn't tell us is that nose mining can be a dangerous pursuit. If the skin inside the nose is broken while picking away, the veins in that region are situated in such a way that sometimes an infection can migrate inward to the base of the brain and inhibit the blood flow, a serious condition known as cavernous sinus thrombosis. This condition can also be caused by squeezing zits on or around the nose. Because of these risks, the triangular area of the face from the corners of the mouth to the bridge of the nose is referred to in the medical community as the "danger triangle of the face."Risks aside, can the immune system really be reinforced by introducing germs into the gut via boogers? While the unpleasant notion may have some scientific merit, it is not based on any formal studies. For this reason, I propose a clinical study where each test subject is given real boogers or placebo boogers for a period of several months, and each group's susceptibility to disease is cataloged during that time. Only then can we know with any certainty.

I mean really is there any medical reason that one shouldn't eat their boogers. I know it is gross and basically its all the dirt that has went up your nose, but I am sure that Andrew eats much worse stuff off of his hands during the day.

Yes that is his foot being used to push his brother off of him.
I would never allow my son to dig holes in the yard so that he could copy the dogs looking for moles. And of course I would discourage him from putting his face down in the hole to sniff around.
I would never take pictures of my oldest son while he is waiting for his dad to get home so they can play football. Of course this wouldn't make this child angry either.
I would never go over to a friends house and make homemade tortillas and leave the mess for her to clean up. A good friend would never leave while the kitchen was a huge disaster.
I would never set on the couch while pealing 10lbs of potatoes for a KDP meal. I mean that would just seem extremely lazy. And I would never lick my fingers multiple time while beating the potatoes with extra butter, sour creme, and creme cheese. That would just be insanitary. I of course would not eat a majority of the sugar cookies that were just baked while beating the potatoes either. Really sugar cookies and mashed potatoes don't go together.
I would never have a chair designated for a dog in my room. Really who would allow a pet to have their own chair that stinks and only she would set in.

Andrew "Mom how do they get the babies out?"
Tim "That's a good question, mom"
Me "You go to the hospital and then you get to take the baby home with you"
Noah "They cut you open and then sow you back up with stitches, mom have you had stitches"
Me - "No" Then silence
Does anyone have any suggestions for fake looking stitches. I have a feeling I will need to come home with some or I am going to have to answer a lot of questions.

Does this not sound like our stock market. All those people that made themselves rich through fraud and misleading the investors.

How this reminded me of where are country is at. We make our gods exactly how we want them to be. There is no black and white with our gods only grey. There are no consequences to our sin just happenings. Women and men don't really suffer any emotional consequences from adultery or abortion (at least that is what we are told.) Let's not teach abstinence because children are going to be having sex. Let us make church only for convenience and what looks good to those around us not for coming together to worship the one true God. Let us not teach those lessons that might offend someone - Adultery, tithing, discipline, abortion, pornography, honesty. If these don't fit our lifestyle lets just not talk about them.
There is still hope because we serve a merciful God. Here is how the books ends.
Hosea 14:1 O Israel, come back! Return to your God! You're down but you're not out. 2 Prepare your confession and come back to God. Pray to him, "Take away our sin, accept our confession. Of course I wouldn't decide while I was out in this cold rain to go ahead to Walmart looking the way I did. I would have never let my youngest child stay at a friends house while at Walmart just so I didn't have to hear him whine or stay a hour in the toy section. I would never go by the deli get boneless barbecue wings, a hand full of steak fries and a box of crunch and munch for my lunch while I was out. I would have never have ate these items with my fingers while walking through the store. Yes I would never lick my fingers to get the barbecue off of them right after touching the shopping carts. Of course we all know the handles on shopping carts really don't have any germs on them. Pregnancy is affecting my brain.
I would never buy a gigantic size underwear because all of my current one are cutting off my circulation and of course I wouldn't be looking for the largest size possible while a Hispanic man is beside me looking at them also.
I wouldn't start up a conversation with my neighbour who I see in Walmart and find out that she is fixing to have breast cancer surgery. I would never be such a bad neighbour as to not know what is going on with her life and never have even made a meal for them. Of course a good neighbour would commit to make them supper the next Monday night. Of course this neighbour would not stare at my belly and ask if I am pregnant either.
I didn't get home and put my youngest to bed and take a two hour nap myself on this rainy day. I just would never waste time like that.
I would never go back to the church in the afternoon to look for more coats for kids wearing the same adorable outfit with the same adorable makeup less face and hair in a ponytail. I just would never be seen like that.
Then I will go back to my place until they admit their guilt. And they will seek my face; in their misery they will earnestly seek me."

This morning I am praying for America. That we would admit our guilt of going after everything that feels good in the moment. That we confess our sin of indifference. That we would stand up for the right not just look the other way and say everyone has the right to their own opinion. Of course everyone has their own opinion but this doesn't mean their opinion is right. That we would acknowledge who the Lord almighty is and we would not place any above him. Maybe God will show mercy on us like he did Israel. I pray that he heals our land and restores us to fellowship with him. That we would be a godly people only following after his righteousness, desiring to do his will and leading others to his saving grace.

She had a great idea. Praying for your children 7 times a day for seven days. I don't pray near enough for my children so I thought this might help me.
1. When they wake up: "Let the morning bring (child's name) word of your unfailing love, for she has put her trust in You. Show (her/him) the way (she/he) should go, for to you (he/she) lifts up her soul." (Adapted from Psalm 143:8)
2. When they are getting dressed: "Therefore, as God's chosen child, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourself with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience. Lord, help (him/her) bear with others and forgive whatever grievances (he/she) has against others. Help (him/her) forgive as the Lord forgave (him/her). And over all these virtues, help (him/her) put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity." (Adapted from Colossians 3:12-14)
3. While they are eating: "Teach (child's name) the secret of being content in any and every situation whether well-fed or hungry, whether living in plenty or in want. Teach (him/her) that (he/she) can do everything through him who gives (him/her) strength." (Adapted from Philippians 4:12-13)
