We decided to check out the Zoo while Nannie and Pops were with us. It was extremely hot but we still had a good time. We waited to the very end to see the penguins exhibit. Guess what.....It was closed. Something about the door had broken so they were not letting people in.
One of my favorite parts was the butterfly house. There was butterflies everywhere. It was totally cool.
Can you tell it was hot.....Ti's hair is wet from sweat.
We ate lunch at this soda bottling company. It was neat. You could actually watch the process through this glass wall.
The fried pickles were super yummy.
I suggest going to the zoo in the spring or fall when it is not 105 degrees outside. At least they had a lot of inside exhibits.
