I thought I would give it a shot. Are you ready?????????
I made the worst chocolate chip cookies ever today. lol
Here is what the first batch looked like.
Really this is a whole pan of cookies after I scraped them off of the pan. Noah was trying to be kind and said " it would probably be good in icecream"
This was the second batch
And this was the final and last ones to come out of the oven. They might have actually been edible if they hadn't been so burnt and as hard as a rock.
I consider myself a pretty good cook. Most everything is edible, but I am not to sure about these cookies. I don't know what I did wrong unless I didn't put the right amount of flour in. I also put the baking soda and salt directly into the dough instead of mixing it with the flour before I put it in. Maybe that was it but it was probably me not paying attention to how much flour I put in it.
So did you really think I would blab on my blog about something really serious I did wrong to all of the five people that actually read my blog. I never admit at least out loud when I do something wrong. hehehe

LOL You are cracking me up! I was expecting something way more serious than cookies. ;) I find the key to cookies is taking them out a little before they are done - they finish cooking on the pan once you take them out.
And thanks for being REAL, girl! :)
I so enjoy reading your blog and count myself blessed to be one of your "five" - LOL.
Chocolate chip cookies are a challenge - Joy and Jill have mastered them, not me!
I think you are quite real all the time. :) Thanks for sharing your family and your spiritual walk with us.
you go girl! I think I will start a blog for all the people who can't make good chocolate chip cookies! I'm gonna be the first to sign up.
They may not look good, but maybe they tasted good? LOL I have so done that before.
Oh how I can relate! I always screw up my cookies!!! How sweet is Noah!
cook them on stoneware! it's almost impossible to burn them! preheat the stone then cook for the normal time then leave them on for 3-4 minutes after you take them out. perfect almost everytime except when you mess them up like me!
