Party, Party, Party

Well it is now 2010 and we celebrated the new year end last night.  We had a great time with friends.  Tim had set up an extra two tvs in the living room and breakfast area so we would have plenty of gaming stations.  We had 2 Wiis going one playstation and a super nintendo along with a couple of hand held games.  Everyone brought finger foods and we played till 1 this morning.  The boys didn't get up until 9 am which is late for them.

Food-
I  made a cheese ball (which was my first time to do this), pigs in blankets, and lemon bars.  Hint for next year - a little less garlic when you are planning on getting a new year kiss might be good.  Others brought cookies, chips and dips, pinwheels, and a vegetable tray.  I ate all night long.

Games-
Amanda and Calvin brought their rock band with Wii.  We had a Wii going in the living room with various games going and the PS2 had american idol karaoke in it.  It was hilarious to watch people sing well I guess I should say try to sing and do the hoola hoop in the Wii.

We were so excited that they got come spend the evening with us.  If only they could move back closer to here.

Ti was a trooper all night.  He did go to sleep for a while but he got woke up at midnight but he went back down at 1:30 after everyone left for the night.  Not for sure how this is going to effect his schedule.

Andrew got third place on the Karaoke.  I sang the verses for him and he did the chorus.  He even beat Brian.    Which I am sure we will never let him live down.

We did kick the kids off the games for a while so that we could play doubles on tennis.  They watched a movie for a few minutes.

We had a great time and looking forward to another game night sometime in the future.

I forgot to take a picture of the food until it was half eaten.  Oh well maybe I will do better next time.
