What!!!!!!

The other night we were having our prayer time with the boys and Noah pops out with this Question.

Noah - How do we know that God is real?

Really we don't ask these kind of questions in the Disheroon household.  Of course God is real.  How could anybody even wonder this question.  We read about him, we go to church every time the doors are open, we pray to him.  How could our child want proof that God is real.  So the super religious person that I am .......

Mom - Well the Bible tells us he is real.  (this was the best answer that I could come up with.  My mind is racing to try to figure out how to prove God's realness)

Noah - How do we know that the Bible is true?  (what can I say,  I have extremely smart child that needs answers)

At this point I am stumped.  I hemhawed around and finally talked about creation.  How could people or any of creation be here without there being a God.  While I prayed that night with him I asked God to show himself in a real way.

I am excited to see how God is going to prove himself to Noah.  You know that God can do that kind of thing and I don't think he even minds us asking the hard questions such as does he even exist.

Please join me in praying for God to show his realness to know in a way that Noah will have no doubt that we serve a great big God.
